Quick Sips: This tea is highly aromatic, with a super fresh and clean initial taste quickly turning into a burst of tanginess. There is a tongue coating sweetness that I originally felt was comparable to daylily leaves, but later it reminded me of honeysuckle nectar. Once that connection was made the whole experience was like drinking fresh flower nectar!
Steeps a long time gongfu style, and after steeping, has some of the most beautiful green tea leaves I've ever seen!
Pre-Qing Ming: Qing Ming is a festival held on the 15th day after the spring equinox in China (either April 4th or April 5th each year). Teas (in particular green teas) picked prior to this date are generally considered to be the highest quality harvest of the year. When tasting our Pre-Qing Ming teas, it's not hard to see why!
